a fresh start in a new building for physiotherapy practice Amyon
An ambitious client came to us with a clear goal: to realize Utrecht’s most beautiful physiotherapy practice. This of course triggered our architectural senses, and we quickly got to business. Working closely with him and his team of therapists to ensure we know the ins and outs of how to make their work environment not just beautiful in form - but also in function.
The plan is structured into three main sections: the entrance with staff space, the treatment rooms, and the practice room. Each area is carefully designed with specific materials, colors, and an overall atmosphere suited to its function. The entrance features an open and relaxing space, creating a welcoming ambiance, while the treatment rooms offer a professional and serene environment.
At Brightside, we always try to engage with our clients in the most beneficial ways possible - be it within our traditional role as architects or beyond. In this project we ensured an optimal workspace for the team by actively engaging them in the design process through workshops - resulting in all facilities they require and a luxurious flexible staff space. Another day we sat down for a coffee with the client and talked through possible extra business models for his location. This resulted in seperate entrances for the treatment rooms and gym space, creating the possibility for flexible subleasing and more turnover.
"Brightside and I go back a long time. After having designed my personal residence, they were the obvious choice to help me achieve my ambitions of making Utrecht’s most beautiful physiotherapy practice! After our experience together, I know this goal to be in great hands with Brightside. "
